Feelings of the 28th of July 22:40 at the international airport of Moscow:
«Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. There is that incredible moment when you decide,»screw it», I am going for it», and suddenly The thrill overtakes the fear. And then you are flying on the magic carpet – I am feeling alive!
Envision your challenges from the future, look back on them from a place of victory, and they will lose much of their power to paralyze you.
Here I am, at the international airport in Moscow. It is one of my very very crazy international solo trips. When a month ago, I finally bought my tickets, it came to my mind: – what the hell am I trying to prove? Why am I doing this? But Universe was sending me a new, more exciting opportunity!
It got so bad last night that I started fantasizing about seriously injuring myself or that I would have any stupid excuses like missing the flight or whatever would work so I wouldn’t have to go(for some reason, just canceling my ticket never entered my mind). As luck, would have it, however, nobody, had an accident, -I could take no excuses at all- and I found myself being driven with two of my sisters, brother and my niece to the airport like I was going to my own funeral…
Now, I’ve just stepped into the international terminal at the airport of Moscow, however, I am swept up in a sea of colours and people from all over the world and movement and languages and my terror has instantly been bulldozed by excitement!! I am going to freakin’ India!!!
When I got on the first plane from Valencia to Moscow, I sat next to this gorgeous Indian woman wearing a pink sari and huge gold earrings who turned to me, smiled and offered me an M&M, epic!, and that’s when it really sank in: you are not alone you ding dong. You are surrounded by people. And one of the most basic common human needs is connection. I then proceeded to spend 5 months working and living in this country that may be change my life!
This keeps proving to me over and over that «Our greatest fears are the greatest waste of time!»Likewise, I may not know exactly what my new reality will look like and how I will be. But I feel ready for Indian right now, to discovering the new «how» maybe totally different (and way better!) as I pictured it!
Gracias Valencia, mi gente por Darme tanto amor! Os quiero!!
